Embroidery exhibition at Hampton Court Palace
Tuesday 26 to Sunday 31 August at the Clore Learning Centre, Hampton Court Palace
Free Admission - 10am to 5pm daily
For the first time at the Clore Learning Centre, five exceptionally talented Royal School of Needlework (RSN) Apprentices will exhibit their work. Each piece has taken between 70 and 110 hours to embroider and some 40 embroideries will be on display representing over 3,000 hours work.
Contemporary designs and themed pieces of the fantasy film 'Labyrinth' and CS Lewis's 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' will be seen in a different dimension worked in traditional embroidery techniques.
